You don't need to be a great writer or plan to be one to do this. Your ability to construct simple and correct sentences, or write compelling lines or paragraphs is simply an invaluable skill. Take time to understand the art of writing, study grammar or grammatical principles, and learn to write good letters, articles, proposals e.t.c. Your ability to communicate effectively is not only in "what you are saying" i.e. having the message, but also in your ability to pass across what your saying to your intended listeners i.e. in the "How" also. By developing a good reading culture, and an accelerated speed to keep us abreast of important and useful information as large volumes of information are churned out daily. This is because most of the information needed are in print i.e. in the form of books, newspapers, magazines, journals, mails, memos e.t.c. Therefore the extent to which you are able to extract needed details will basically determine the level of your productivity. Knowing a little of everything will not cannot hurt you (if possible be a living encyclopedia), it will rather put you above you contemporaries. Develop an exceptional people skill
Life is about creating and maintaining strong and positive relationships. Learn to understand people, make new friends at every opportunity, network, develop a strong positive personality and great character via which you can relate with people from different backgrounds. Improve your capacity to accommodate, live or work successfully with people of varying views without any measure of difficulty. Focus on how to help them achieve their noble dreams. A lot of people are not rich because they don't have money but because the lack the basic skills needed to properly manage their income. Money answereth "all" things the Holy Bible says. Therefore you really need to learn how money works. This skill is what differentiates the rich from the poor.
